Yoga Therapy By Alberto

Post-2019, I have started teaching Therapeutic BreathWorks to patients who have suffered from Covid-19 infection. This is to regenerate lost health by breathing rightly and also increase the capacity of their lungs and enhancing their immunity and defence system. This yogic practise is a research-based and proven technique that has been derived from the Prsna Upanishad.

My USP is training an individual to overcome the Performance Plateau. Though it is a phase in everybody’s career, it is far more visible [due to individual, preferential subordination of mental capabilities and time-bound execution abilities] in professional sports players and senior/higher management candidates from corporate offices and MNCs, because it is here that their Performances are measured against the said individual’s success.

I train working people to drain off their stress through a one-day workshop. Here they are able to identify the most complex reasons and sources of self-generated stress and easily expel the habits from their lives. This yogic practice is a research-based and proven technique that has been derived from the Mandukya Upanishad.

Students are all equally gifted to absorb information from their surroundings. Some of them fail to use this ability and falter in academics. I teach students for Academic Excellence through Yoga Therapy [Great for Schools and Colleges]

I have successfully treated patients through Yoga Therapy for Extreme Stress, Asthma, Partial Heart Blockages, Hypertension, Acute Rhinitis, Constipation, Acidity, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Obesity, Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism, Migraine and Tension Headache, Kyphosis, Backache, Menstrual Disorders and more.

What is unique about learning from me?

I have been practising Hatha Yoga since the year 2000 and started teaching it since 2009. During this period, I felt the need for a certification to teach further. This quest took me through a journey of multiple courses by many reputed masters and institutes. These were umbrella foundations like Ambika Yog Kutir, Isha Foundation, World Pranic Healing Foundation Inc., Institute for Inner Studies, Ghantali Mitra Mandal and finally, SVYASA Yoga University.

The post-graduation in Yoga Therapy changed my perception of how powerful certain practices can be, to change the energies of a person with reference to ailments. My aspiration to teach yoga and improve my understanding for a better practice led me to learn Pranic Healing, at Grand Master Choa Kok Sui’s, Institute for Inner Studies and World Pranic Healing Foundation. Here I learned Basic and Advance forms of Energy Healing and later continued to learn Pranic Psychotherapy, Soul Realisation, Arhatic Yoga and Kriyashakti.

I am also equipped with a Diploma in Yoga Education (D. Ed. in Yoga) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT).

Training from various masters and diligent practice has enabled me to inculcate the core values of yoga as a way of life. My background is Hatha Yoga and I focus on the practice with, special techniques for every ailment [research based from SVYASA Yoga University], creative sequencing, restoring overall health and well-being. In my classes, I have a non-judgmental teaching style focusing on students’ abilities and needs.

Sometimes I have seen happy people living truly happy moments. So I knew it was possible to see everybody happy, sometimes. To achieve this state, I believe in incorporating different modalities like Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga to restore the body, mind, and soul. This is the basis for the Integrated Approach of Yoga Therapy, especially used to heal people suffering from non-communicable diseases or psychosomatic ailments.

To add a little zest to it, Pranic Healing works wonders in accelerating the recovery from ailments, cleansing an individual’s aura (bioplasmic energy field) and purification of body and mind [emotions].

Increase Lung Capacity

In today’s chaotic times, everybody is breathing haphazardly. An average human being utilizes only up to 14% of the vital capacity of their lungs. In these tested times, when we require maximum intake of Oxygen, we need to build up the apparatus of breathing in such a way that it can absorb and supply at least 50% of the ideal capacity of our Lungs. 30 days of practice of these research-based and proven Yoga Breathing Techniques can increase the Lung capacity by 50 %.

1]. Yoga Therapy for Sportsman – above 10 years:

Every sports participant reaches a phase where they are at the peak of their performance and are unable to rise above this level. This is the phase of a performance plateau. Even though their coaches have taught them all the special techniques of their respective sport, they cannot rise up from that level. This is usually because of the mental blocks, which are very difficult for a common man to even identify. Yoga Therapy has proved to shatter these mental blocks with research-based practices and help the participant to excel in his aspiration, be it sports or academic upgrade.

With regular practice, one develops intuition, foresight, reflex and peripheral vision to be highly competitive in every sport. Important changes visible in the practitioner will be an improvement in observation, performance [sport and academic], calm and balanced body and mind due to the improved ability to relax, improved strength, power, endurance, accuracy, footwork where needed and minimizing the chances of injury.

3]. Yoga Therapy for Asthma and other Pulmonary Disorders:

This is a research-based practice for patients suffering from Pulmonary disorders like Asthma, Pleuritis, Sleep Apnoea, COPD, etc. This practice helps the patients to minimize the physical symptoms which they suffer due to their ailment and restore back good health. We have observed that once a patient starts this practice he will never return back to his/her earlier state of suffering. 4]. Women between 16 to 65 years:

Usually, women in this age group suffer from PCOS/PCOD, Menstrual Disorders, Distended Uterus, backache and many ailments related to the female reproductive system. A specially designed practice for women keeps all these areas healthy and prevents ailments related to the reproductive system. This practice proves to be a boon for women who start at an early age.

5]. Yoga Therapy: Restoration of Health; Ailment – Wise

One hour batches for exclusive group or individuals suffering for Psychosomatic ailments.  These are Sessions where special techniques for every ailment recovery are taught.  Here usually the Sadhakas are patients suffering from Stress and stress-induced ailments like Constipation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Backache, Asthma, Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension, Cardiac Blockages, Parkinson’s, Arthritis, etc. Fascinating results which I have seen from my personal experience in treating these kinds of individuals has been the main motivation for promoting Yoga Therapy. 6]. Group Classes: For Well-being

One hour batches of Shukshma Vyayam, Breath Correction, sequenced Yoga Asanas and Pranayamas, Bandhas and Mudras and Surya Namaskar. These are 5-days/Week classes.
